Can I redistribute CyberCIEGE?
Cyberciege may be freely distributed within the U.S. Federal Government.  The "Educators" section of the on-line help includes instructions for creating distribution CDs from which CyberCIEGE may be installed, or played directly without installing software.  Educators may distribute the game to students for use in a class.
Are there user guides or course notes?
Yes.  The game includes an on-line "encyclopedia".  After installing the game, open any of the campaigns and press the "Getting Started" button.  That opens the encyclopedia to the page that contains summaries of the scenarios and lab manuals that go along with the scenarios.  Additionally the encyclopedia contains an "Educators" section (get there via the table of contents) that includes instructor  notes for several of the scenarios.

Who is the target audience for CyberCIEGE?
The game is intended to teach information assurance concepts to students within information assurance or computer science curriculums.  The game also includs a number of "training and awareness" scenarios that are targeted toward general computer users.

Can I create my own scenarios?
Yes, you can build your own scnenarios and customize existing scenarios using the CyberCIEGE SDK.

CyberCIEGE contains government work created by NPS employees and therefore those portions of CyberCIEGE are in the public domain and are not subject to copyright. All remaining work within CyberCIEGE is copyrighted by Rivermind and its use is subject to the copyright protection afforded to Rivermind. This specific version of the CyberCIEGE may not be distributed outside of the United States Government without a license agreement. SimCity and RollerCoaster Tycoon are registered names and belong to their respective companies.
